hem, I took a break and I see that many questions appeared here... with obvious answers.
I should laugh but I'm quite depressed... this topic contains now too much easy/stupid/already answered questions, so it's going to be ineffective to new Blender users to look for an answer in it...
There a lot of potential in this animated scene, just make them in an avi format with trees, volumetric grass and better lightning (seriously it's time to do more realistic), these animations would be kickass.
Good, it just need some motion blur and camera instability to make it real, and probably a better lightning because the scenes look like made of clay. Some materials need a specular shader.
weird problem... check if "combined" and "z" buttons only are activated in the render layers tab of the render menu.
otherwise the textures files are lost..
Nice renders mate, the V2 kit works well. Like JJ72 said you have to create a new material for a second car because all the cars in the kit share the same material. The "add new" command duplicates the selected material, then assign another texture.
It was a 3dsmax tutorial I tested some years ago, I customized the glass material a little bit.
Can't remember why I tried 3dsmax at this time, but I've quickly abandoned it due to the difficulty and software complexity.
I hard to learn Blender too but this time I managed to feel comfortable with it.
AFAIK nowhere yet. But if a future LFS patch contains other car update, maybe I would work on a V3 render kit.
LFS cars? nowhere but try to ask other Blender users their scenes, maybe some of them would make them public. But it is more interesting to make scenes by yourself.
No filter, no script but a toon material is available within Blender but I've never tried it yet. I know it is possible tough.
@Gustix
It's fine now, post it in the 3d lfs render topic to impress brazil studio users when finished
There's a mip map button in the texture tab activated by default, just unpress it.
Seriously mate do something better, there's not any skillful work in this texture. You also think it is ugly, why do you want to make a render with it and make it a personal helmet texture? quite pitiful isn't it?
This is a very interesting scene, just add a hdr background and it will look awesome. To make the work better, add bump map to the ground, more diversified textures and disable mipmapping of the falken texture (optional: get a faster image host )
I'm glad to see such self made scene (moreover within Blender)
